It is well-established but always innovative and refreshing, getting under the skin of consumer behaviour and developing some unique and compelling brand stories, with some impressive creative work across both consumer and service branding.

Business Development Director – the role

To support the agency’s growth plans for 2021, the team are looking to hire a strategically-minded business development director to build on their current success.

You’ll take the lead on all new business activities, keeping track of the market, identifying all up-coming opportunities, managing inbound enquiries and directing pitches and presentations. Working alongside your peers in the Senior Leadership team, you’ll play an important role in converting opportunities into profitable revenue.

The team are looking for a strategic thinker, someone who has ideally worked with consumer brands within the creative industry. Someone who is an amazing networker, skilled in commercial negotiation; someone with a passion for branding.  

 

Business Development Director – The Role 

Working in partnership with the senior leadership team, developing and implementing a business plan and BD strategy that fits with the agency’s vision

Creating and managing a pipeline of target market prospects, monitoring changes and developments in the market and identifying the best options for the agency

Seeking out new opportunities that will provide significant revenue

Managing the complete pitch process; bringing together the team, preparing creative and innovative presentation decks that stand out from the crowd

Developing strategic relationships with key influencers and contacts

Skilled in commercial negotiation, persuasive and influential; able to understand and articulate the offering at C-Suite level

Working alongside the marketing director to create agency points of view to open doors and create meaningful conversations.

Taking an active role in developing the agency’s reputation and vision.
